*waves* Hey again y'all! So sorry I was unable to update yesterday. It was quite the crazy day for me here. I am beginning to think that I need to write me out a schedule because there sure isn't enough hours in the day for me to get everything done that I would like to. lol
Ok, complete with pictures, here goes. :)

Loaves have been unmolded. |
 |
First cut on hubby's loaf. Doesn't it look like the old fashioned soap? ;-) |
 |
Hubby's loaf has been cut, so cutting my loaf up. |
 |
We cut these into almost 2 inch bars |

They look lovely don't they. I was concerned at first about the color because I thought they would be lighter, but Goats Milk discolors. I also asked some others who have more experience with cp soapmaking about the color, and the sweating on the one loaf in the mold, and apparently it is likely due to the soap superheating a bit and should be fine. So these are all set up to cure now in The Shop. :) |
I said last night that I was going to take a day off from soap making , but that isn't going to happen. lol
I want to try to do a batch of unscented goats milk soap and try the lye and oils at a lower temp and see what the results are. Will let you know how it goes.
Oh before I forget to mention, last night I made another batch of soap using a different recipe. It was a very different experience from the day before. Will post about that next time. :))
Well folks , I just wanted to post real quick, I have a million things to do today so will talk to y'all later!
Suds & Bubbles,
Soapy
